Hideaway Happenings
May 10-17 was National Children’s Book Week and Manciple Press was honored to play its part. On May 13, the Woodstock Public Library, in Woodstock, GA, just north of Atlanta, hosted a pre-release reading and event. And what an event it turned out to be!
With only two weeks to spread the word everyone was blown away when a crowd of fifty people turned up to hear the reading and participate in the story themed events.
Seven copies of Penelope Fieldstone’s exciting new series were donated to the Library, (one for each branch) and a lucky winner walked away with a The Chocolate Hideaway t’shirt and another with a free copy of the fantastic book. Other pre-release copies of The Chocolate Hideaway, Part 1: The Riddle of Wallace were sold and t-shirts had barely been paid for when kids and adults alike already had them on!
What a great way to celebrate Children’s Book Week and to get ready for the upcoming release of the exciting first part in Penelope Fieldstone’s The Chocolate Hideaway series!
